Found a PA in my basement

Post by MrNovember »

There's a saying in my house that "the basement provides"
When my housemates originally moved in a couple years ago (before I move here) the landlord told them that the previous tenants left a bunch of stuff in the basement and they had the option to keep it or she'd clean it out and trash it.

Well today I found a PA down there.
One of these:

I don't have any speaker cables or mics so I can't properly test it. But it powers up. Also one of the speakers is missing the back cover but it appears to still have the input jack

Anyways, what should I do with this thing? Is it worth keeping? Should I flip it for some cash? Is it even worth anything?

Going to try to borrow a mic if I can and buy some speaker cables to test it ASAP

Didn't you find one of those Digitech vocal pedals down there a while back too?

I did. Seriously the basement provides.
I also found a Yamaha snare drum and a really weird looking bongo type drum down there.
The PA system was actually sitting in plain sight too. It was just in a carrying case that I mistook for luggage
It's ridiculous. Who leaves all this stuff behind when they move?
Like they left junk tables and couches and stuff too but a PA system and pedals?

That is an incredibly great idea. I was just planning on running it through my amp but this will be WAY better!

None of it's high dollar and sometimes you just walk away, it's not worth chasing or worrying about.

Stuff is stuff.

My pedalboard costs approximately 191 Metal Zones.

I guess that's true. But as a starving student, stuff I can sell, even if it's a cheap PA, is equal to more pedals that I can afford :idk:
