Seppuku Pitch Computer...what else is like this?

Post by Uncle Grandfather »

So I'm seeking knowledge from the collective consciousness here....i want more of THIS. Its sort of arp with pitch shifting i think would suffice to describe it, but it gets so incredibly tasty and i've never played another pedal that approached this sort of mayhem. Reminds me of my mid-fi electronics deluxe pitch pirate and clari(not)...if they were on strong acid.
Hugs and kisses.

You're so lucky dude, I have been trying to get one of these for years :omg: he only made a couple for a Japanese pedal store years ago and finally he brought it back in production. Incredible demo's dude! :animal:

Thanks  I got #2. Its really an incredible pedal. I noticed in some other demos that the pedal doesn't behave at all like the one I got. I'm glad :thumb: :joy:

Maybe try to get some more Seppuku stuff.
Also Trogotronic stuff and Chamber of Sounds stuff is pretty crazy.
Do you have a Death By Audio Robot?
good deals with: the_brow, phantasmagorovich, alexsga, DarkAxel, goroth, The Wood Wizard, Tendollarcat, vbps, monkeydancer, intothegroove, Brobee

Yeah more Seppuku seems on the horizon if this is his style :joy:

Never heard of Trogotronic stuff so I'll look into them!

I've got a Chamber of Sounds Jupiter III, he's onto interesting in a very good way.

I do have the Robot, and from a demo of the Pitch Computer sort of expected a similar pedal albeit with 6 different settings that had different functions....but this version of the Pitch Computer is ultra insane compared to the Robot and that other demo i found.

Thanks for the heads up, i'm off to check out trogotronic right now :thumb:

Yeah, as far as I know those Robots tend to be pretty different too one compared to the other.
If I recall correctly there's also some trimpots inside so you can rough it up some.
I liked the Pro Guitar Shop demo of it but when I tried one especially the arp mode sounded nothing like that, it sounded quite lame actually.
Trogotronic is a bit like Metasonix, I'm sure you're going to love it.
The dude from Chamber of Sounds has some other pretty weird stuff, including an older handheld device that is damn crazy.
What's with these Grendel Drone Commander and Black Box Death things and shit?
Might be something too.
Well anyway, this is not really my field but that's what I know.

Yeah, i forgot all about that trimpot. In my demo thread I demoed the Robot with the Reverberation Machine and I got some seriously awesome textures and sounds...great pairing. I think the trimpot fuzzes it up more in some manner, that's on the to do list now

I've had a Drone Commander for awhile, its incredible, but its an instrument and not an effect. Not familiar with the Black Box Death? But with a badass name like that its bound to be interesting so I'll check it out too :thumb:

Have you played a Goodbye 24? Its like a pitch shifting arpeggiated delay.

No, i've seen it mentioned with high regard on here but it seemed like a hard pedal to get ahold of so I never really payed to much attention. Something about very limited production and a secret handshake?

Pretty sure the Black Death is out of production. Might be some of the jr variety floating around.

There's a trogo 77 in the bst. Someone buy it so I don't.

Check montreal assembly shark tank frequently. Scott does update regularly but the me version of gb24 will surface soonish. I have two of the old ones, probably my favorite effect. Plays great with everything and a plethora of sounds....

Seppuku analog Resynth would be nice for you to demo. Any of his stuff really. Please get a blog or something that catalogs what you've demoed. You're doing the community a favor.
