Played em for a couple of minutes and I'm already sure they don't.

I'll get some recording on later in the day.

So far I've played them all but the ones that impressed me the most were the OD and Reverb. They fit in best with my playing style and they're both lovely.

The Reverb can get unpleasant if you go past the first quarter of the gain knobs, but with just a hair it sounds great. I feel the same as Tristan about the delay-ey reverb of spring emulations, somehow it's not my sound, but if you rough it up a little with the gain it starts to smear and sound more like reverb again.

The OD is a fun little beast, I guess it's because of the look of the box, but it really makes me think of a Schumann Lion. Not that I've ever played one. I really like the combination of Hi-Pass Filter and Clean Blend. This way you can go nasty on the upper range and stay tight on the bottom. Think Beyoncé.

The Incinerator is aptly named. It makes lots of retarded sounds. It's perfect if you like oscillating fuzz. Even if it makes me the forum pariah I have to say that I don't much, so this is not for me, really.

The Squarewave has been the one I've only plugged in once, because I already have one of the earlier KO Amps version. I might do a comparison if I find the time.

Cheers,
Mick

Hey phanta, I'm not a hardcore oscillation freak either because it usually overwhelms the regular sound in volume.
That said, try the Incinerator with the oscillation just at or just below 1/4 and input gain (first control, left top) at about 1/2 or lower, with that setting the fuzz doesn't really make a tone but mostly adds texture to it all, it's fucking awesome.

That Incinerator, that sustain, those artefacts!!!
You're using it differently from what I did with it going for the sustain and all but it's at least every bit as cool. :D
Gassing rockhard for one.
Judging from your clip and my time with the Incinerator I'm thinking it might be pretty awesome to have an expression input for the oscillation control.
Another thing that could be cool is a volume / blend so you can blend in the oscillation with the regular fuzz but I don't know whether such a thing is possible or whether such a thing has been done before really.
Anyway, just rambling... :D
Great stuff!

Thanks buddy!

Yeah, an expression in would rule! And that is a feature that strangely is not common on oscillating fuzzes.

I was thinking having a sort of digital control set that would enable presets would be really cool too. That way you could tune the oscillation for different songs.
Or, maybe something like frequency modulation, meaning a circuit that tracks the pitch of your guitar and adjust the oscillator accordingly. If it can be done by a synth, why not in a pedal?

Oh yeah, definitely, that would be crazy too, as if the Incinerator isn't crazy enough as is, whaha... :thumb:

Yeesh. this is really good. You guys are making me crazy for that reverb. And I didn't really know I wanted an Incinerator until now.
