I know people who are really into pedals but hate big boxes, they just want a great tone that's no-nonsense. My old lead guitarist was that way, he kept saying that he hated knob-tweaking and that all settings on a pedal should sound good, mentioning the Fuzz Factory in front of him is the equivalent of slapping him in the face.

Inconuucl: I can shoegaze that tune with 5 pedals.
other contestant: I can shoegaze that tune with 4 pedals.
Inconuucl: I can shoegaze that tune with 3 pedals.
other contestant: OK, shoegaze that tune!

If you are only running a few pedals there's not going to be a lot of difference between 1590bs and 1590as. Pedaltrain aren't releasing a pico.

Putting tiny pedals on a pedaltrain is the worst. Even when they're sideways on a slat they aren't stable. I use dual lock and my Polytune is still a little floppy.

TBH, I still feel that a 1590BB is too small :idk: , I'd rather everything came in Big Muff sheet metal boxes.

My non-deformed foot is 14 double-wide, anything smaller than a Boss-type switch made me unhappy when I used my feet for pedals. Now it's expression and some outboard switches only and those on good days, the standard switch that's become popular in the last generation or so is just too damn small.

I love the Boss-type doors over a switch. I really do.

My pedalboard costs approximately 191 Metal Zones.

I always think the tonebutcher pedals look pretty cool as far as small pedals go
