Not sure how anyone else feels about fedex around here, but I'm really starting to despise these guys. For the second time this month I have ordered somthing where the items are located just 2 hours south of me, and only for them to put there filthy paws on my packages and squat on them until they see fit. I practically stole a big box polychorus of craigslist this week, and was shipped out wednesday morning. This package will now rot at fedex for the entirety of the weekend.
What irks me I guess is this never happens with ups, or usps. Hell my rat tail shipped out from the chicago music exchange, and ups had it here the next day.
Anyways just posting to vent, turned the big 32 today, and fedex has kinda put a damper on things. Anyone else here unhappy with their fedex services?

It happens with any of them. Had packages get sat on across town by UPS, USPS, DHL, Fedex, etc.

The only one I've had any dealings with is USPS and they suck. Had a package that was shipped from New Jersey to Australia. Ended up in France for a few weeks sightseeing and possibly getting blow jobs from French hookers. All up about 6 week to get into my hands. Happy birthday by the way.

Lmao, thanks for the input everyone. Actually called fedex this morning, and there stance was that I paid for ground shipping, which has a 3-5 day delivery time regardless of location of goods purchased.
Seems like the jabs keep coming, as I sold my Zoom Ultra Fuzz to a fella in New Zealand. Shipped it out last thursday, and just received an email, thanking me for getting it to him so fast.
It baffles me that I can ship somthing across the world with usps and have it delivered in a reasonable amount of time, and that fedex will take there time delivering a package that only has a 90 mile trip to its destination.
Some things I guess I'll never understand.

Yep, that stance is shared across the major shippers. They won't release before the estimated window, no matter what.

Re: Fed Ex, disappointed?
oh man..... do i EVER have issues with Fed Ex. I do shipping as part of my job and last week things totally got screwed. Fed Ex is one parent company and like 5 or so smaller companies that are run totally separate from each other. Express, Ground, Freight... they are all different companies with way too much overlap in what they provide. i make labels to ship something fed ex express freight (you probably see where this is going) and then call to schedule a pick up. my call gets to fed ex freight (dif company). Of course this leads to a big issue as the wrong company came to get the items, and they can't actually take them. heck, the reason i called was to request a truck with a lift gate to pick up the items and they still sent a truck without one!
most times, things are fine, but that was a clusterfuck of a situation.

Yeah I sure although it seems weird it is probably what is best for the process as a whole. I remember one time UPS sent my package to the wrong local hub which was like 45 minutes away from me. The next thing I saw was my package was several hundred miles away because apparently that is where a major hub is that all packages go through or something like that. And then they sent it to my correct local hub.
