I don't have any experience with it but I'm not sure why you'd go for this when things like GE-7's or FX40B's have more features and can be had for less money.

didn't you read the ad? cuz dimebag used it, duh.

For rel though, I agree with leaves on this one. Unless you have a blue themed board, might as well get a dod or a used boss.

Because it's vintage - and there is something about vintage equipment that I like. The tones and how they affect the overall sound..
I would be running it through a solid state randall head..
Yeah, and dimebag and evh used them...

A guy in my band sometimes uses a 10 band MXR like that, pretty cool stuff. I've never felt the need for one myself, but there's pretty cool. I agree, blue pedals are cool.....

1980s isn't really the "vintage tone era" in my opinion. Also, I don't think a vintage eq vs modern would be any different if the frequencies are the same. I have played a newer ten band and instantly fell in love.

It'll certainly be noisier, suck more tone and probably fail faster without servicing than a modern EQ pedal... but otherwise it'll be the same!

I have one of those, bit noisy and the lack of switch/ power/ led is a pain in the ass. I don't think I'd recommend it over anything with mod cons tbh.

that's what blue paint is for :erm:

Yeah, I would have to get a noise gate. Fuck all that...
Even though it's blue...

Buy a JOYO EQ, it's the same thing for cheap with the added bonus of LED sliders and a battery compartment door.
