Madbean Moodring Reverb?
Anyone know anything about this? http://www.madbeanpedals.com/projects/Moodring/Moodring.pdf
I want to build a reverb and I'm seriously considering this one--or--the 1776 rub-a-dub deluxe (significantly simpler, but doesn't look as versatile). I can't find any demo videos or much additional info on the madbean, so what do y'all think? Any other reverb kit suggestions? I want something that can get pretty spacey.

I've built up the 1776 Rub A Dub Deluxe, which is pretty cool. I really REALLY want to build up the Moodring.

The Mood Ring is bad-ass. It provides a key feature missing from all the other Belton brick projects: true pre-delay control. That and the way the feedback is set up make it very unique and very cool.

THAT'S what I wanted to hear! I'm looking for a deep, cavernous reverb, and this is the only DIY verb I've found that has the pre-delay control, so I'm hoping this will get me there.

Check out the Grind Tenbrion as well. I haven't built it but it's super tempting.

Tenbrion reverb is awesome too. I built that one up and have an extra board for myself that I want to build up. If you increase the feedback pot on it, you can get it to go into that DBA Reverb kind of freak out type thing

oh dude, thanks for the tip...I hadn't seen the tenbrion before, but that looks super simple. I think I'm going to have to build one of those up for sure!

I actually designed the Tenebrion for GrindCustoms. It's a fun circuit that's relatively simple. At the time I designed it, nobody was doing feedback with V2 of the Belton brick, which sounded way different from the V1. I've seen a project or two since that "borrows" the same setup, but the Tenebrion was first.

Less feedback resistance = more freakout sounds. So reduce the feedback limiting resistor value to allow the pot to make the circuit "tip over" into wonky zone.

Still have no idea what's happening with "ring", but it sounds great.

Yeah, it sounds great. I might have to pick up a board

What are you thoughts on the RDD?
I'm currently using a Wampler Faux Reverb clone I built. It's a nice circuit for a Belton but I'd like to see how the Belton 3 works.

You mean the control? It's the Mix.
