Re: Who Loves Badass TV shows? Let's hear it!
I think it's really funny, I really liked the first episode and even made Tanya watch it cause I thought Jesus was so cool and funny. I definitely recommend it! It's also made by Mike Clattenberg, the creator and director of the Trailer Park Boys.. it's top notch!
And Trey, congratulations on the publishing of your book! What a cool accomplishment! *cigars and champagne* I tried to order it through the big cartel site but they won't ship to Canada.. so next time we work together we gotta factor in a copy of your book. Sounds like a really interesting topic!

So Black Jesus is the product of TPB and The Boondocks. Now I have to watch it.
And thanks for being interested in the book!!!! It's kind of like Chuck Klosterman but substantially worse. Right now I'm sold out and the publisher is taking it's sweet time getting copies to me, but I should have some next week. Feel free to email/pm if you would like a copy and we will definitely work something out!

Is anyone else watching The Leftovers on HBO? AMAZING. So legitimately terrifying and unsettling. I love it.
Also, new American Horror Story soon. Its a carnival theme this season! Which is awesome because I married into a family of carnies.

Watched the first episode of Black Jesus after Ryan's recommendation. I thought it was really funny. I still have my doubts about them carrying the premise long term, but I'm on board with it.
Also finished watching Wilfred - anybody else? Thought the brought the series to a cool and satisfying close.

Sooo...that Netflix Original cartoon BoJack Horseman was pretty good.
Star-studded voice acting (no John H though...), and was basically Hotline LA. Watched the entire season in one sitting if that says anything.

Oh man, I really loved Rick and Morty! It was fantastic! I watched a panel interview they did at Comic Con in the summer and both Rick and Morty are voiced by the show's creator, he's hilarious. The episode where they show all those tv commercials from that other dimension was so funny!
And welcome to the Dr. Sci forum! You totally don't have to own anything to post in here though buddy! *smile*

Watched all of the new TPB recently. I had high hopes, and it didn't let me down at all. Can't wait to check out the new movie when it hits netflix.
Finished Black Jesus tonight. Soooooo good. Funny and endearing and a lot of fun.
The wife and I recently got into Community as well. I regret not getting on board with that show sooner.

All caught up on Parks and Rec. It's actually pretty entertaining, and Ron Swanson is just a fucking badass.
