So, Resident Evil Revelations is kinda pretty good. I haven't played a good RE game in so long - hell, aside from my unbridled lust for Dead Space, I haven't gotten into Zombie horror at all for the past 5-6 years.

I enjoyed that game. It was the closest to survival horror the RE franchise has gotten in the past 2-3 games.

Stoked for Wastelands 2... Borderlands stupidity free for the weekend though!

Just realized I'm like 2/3 of the way through DS2 (I looked at a map). When I started playing, I never thought I'd make it even this far  I'm generally pretty terrible at these kinds of games.
Edit: although the Rotten has been an big asshole by repeatedly killing me when I have him at 10% health. So annoying. And Lucatiel won't show up in the Black Gulch for me, either :idk:

Watching my wife play Diablo 3 right now...looks pretty good but also looks like the kind of game I just wouldn't have time to really get into.

D3 is a short-term timesink with replay value.

I play it 20-30m at a time and have near BIS gear on a couple characters now.

It's still D3 though.

I'm digging it quite a bit. It's definitely the hardest thing that Fromsoft has released since the OG Dark Souls imo...which is a good thing. The main game's PvE, while good, doesn't quite hit the mark for a Souls game.

I've now encountered 2 bosses and haven't been able to get past either. Shit's fuckin' rough, man.

That's good news.
I've almost beaten New Vegas (for the like 5th time) so I'm going to stick to that to the end before getting into the new DLC
Still need to beat the final boss for the first DLC too, I think I need to suck it up and summon people for help

Daaaaaaaaaaaaaamn. I don't want to be that guy that keeps talking about it.

But the Metro Redux is really, really good. 2033 now plays like LL - the Stealth sections are realistic and solid, you can non lethally take down enemies and even when using silenced weapons you need to be careful about timing your shots right. The overall gameplay is better balanced and the difficulty is the right amount of being harsh without being shameless bullet sponges. Also, interestingly enough, I'm running the game on Ultra/1440p with PhysX and it's playing smoother and looks better than the previous iterations.

Unfortunately, the children voice actors are still... odd...

So get it if your interested?
