Crown k2 for bass guitar?

You can flip your K2 on Ebay and recoup your money, if it doesn't work out. $375 is a pretty good price (unless it has issues like noisy pots, or lots of cosmetic wear). That being said, power amps are cheap and used ones are plentiful. I GAS'd hard for a K2 and now that I have it, I think my Crown XTI2000 was fine (except when the digital menu screen crapped out). Power is power, some power amps are more rugged than other ones though. I drive subwoofers with a K2. There's no fan, so they are quiet, if that means anything to you. No idea about compatibility with your preamps.
