Volcanoes (Bass and Drum Duo)

Post by Joe Gress »

To not derail the DFA thread any further, here's a band some of you may dig a lot:

http://hugevolcanoes.bandcamp.com/

They've got three albums both of which kick all kinds of ass. If you liked DFA 1979, these guys definitely carry the torch really really well.
awesome signature with witty quotes from all you fuckers :)

Way more tech than lightning bolt but I get it. Love Planets and keep hoping news of them surfaces. Think they are done.

Man! The Paver is so badass. Baroque-core haha.

While we're posting bands, everyone should check out No Spill Blood. Heavy, moody bass/drum/synth trio. Theyre on Sargent House so you know its quality shit. They opened for Russian Circles and Deafheaven in Ireland (IIRC) and I read that they stole the show. Full length later this year, but they have a killer EP out now.

I was wondering about the vocals too. Its the icing on the cake for the atmospherics. There are some other good videos of them on the toobz. Maybe you can get a better look on one of them.

There's also Royal Blood if we're doing bass/drum duos:

I had never heard of Volcanoes, Royal Blood, or No Spill Blood (hiding under a rock). Thank you ILF. :!!!:
