Ok, I got this pedal, Son of a Bee #7, a while ago and it has kicked all the other dirts of my board, sad to say but also glad to say. It's a modified clone of this old roland bee baa fuzz I believe, which was pretty sweet but the addition of a mid knob really adds to it's overall performance. I first plugged this in, and was like "Aw man this thing is wimpy" cuz it sounded like a zvex fuzz factory y'know blistery-all-treble-gross fuzz, (which may have been from my very bright eq setting to be fair) but i rolled up the volume knob to 1 o' clock and it turned into the fuzziest fuzz pedal EVAR. It was like bss bzz bsss bssssssewww, then DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CHUGGA CHUGGA CHUGGA CHUGGA CHUGGA CHUGGA DWEEDLEEDWEEDLEEDWEDDLEWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not exactly like that, but you understand what I'm getting at. It's THICK. To get low gain tones you'll need to back off your volume knob on your guitar, since this is one extreme box! This pedal seems to be aimed at one specific sound, you'll always get a good sound from it, no matter where the mid, tone, and gain are. Like, the tone and gain don't do a HUGE amount but they will give you the specific sound you are looking for if that makes sense. So you won't go from one extreme to another, you have this fairly big nook that you can use to sculpt the sound very specifically.
So, I'm not very good at writing reviews but I want to tell you that this pedal is insanely awesome. There is only one or two other reviews out there, and i could only find one clip but don't let that discourage you from checking it out. The price is right, and the pedal is
