CV routing on a pedalboard.

So. Lets say I have an mf-102 and I want be able to switch from having an lfo at the "carrier in" to the white noise at the "carrier in" to the carrier at the "carrier in" on the fly.

Could this be accomplished with say... a boss line selector or some other regular old router a/b type pedal. I would think yes. A signal's a signal, right?

EDIT: So I was quickly informed that that would not work because...TRS... so anyone know of anything with the aforementioned capabilities? Solder-Wizard I am not.

EDIT: as rfurtkamp suggested im already finding myself wanting at least 4 options as i also want to be able to have the mf-102 carrier, processed and unprocessed, as an option.

The CV I/Os in those pedals need TRS cables, so you'd need to make your own a/b/y box with stereo jacks

Not quite. The expressionator allows you to distribute one cv signal to multiple outputs. I'm looking for something that allows me to change what cv is being fed to an input on my fooger with a footswitch. So I would have an LFO and a Noise signal going into two separate inputs of a router with a switch that would allow me to choose which signal I output to the fooger.

yeah, if that's all you want to do then i'm fairly certain all you need is a stereo A/B/Y box to passively switch which signal is being fed to the cutoff. There are plenty of dudes on here who would build you one.

Yep, passive a/b/y TRS box will do the trick nicely.

Also, if you ever think you might want a third option, just have it made into a ABC from the getgo.

Think like buying mixers or patchbays - it's easier to buy a little more than needed than to redo it later.

from where are you getting the lfo and the white noise????? if you dont plan to use both together (a+b) an a/b properly wired can do the trick, but it will depend on how your cv sources are wired

lfo is coming from either the mf-102 or the cp-251. White noise comes from cp-251. I've been researching a and it seems like i may only need TRS if the voltage is going to one of the parameter inputs as opposed to the carrier input that does not provide power. Does this make sense?
