Well I've out it off long enough. I have 27 instruments that need to be wet sanded and buffed so today I bit the bullet and got started.
I got two guitars buffed out that will be headed for Sweden as soon as the hardware is ready and I can assemble them.
So....2 down....25 to go.....sighhhhhhhhhhh.

Ha! Maybe! I should probably get my pedestal buffer operational as it would probably save wear and tear on the ol' shoulders!
More good news: just gave the final okay on the pickguard renderings so those shoukd be cut out and ready for anodizing within the week.
Also my new batch of pickup magnets are ready to ship!
So close!!!!!

After a lot of trials and tribulations the first batch of bridge saddles were finished and picked up today.
So here is the first batch of completed bridges made possible by the fundraiser!
Now I can FINALLY get some guitars finished!.....well as soon as tuners arrive!
I'm really excited about these bridge saddles as they are VERY precise and beautifully machined!

is the whole bridge adjustable? doesn't look like the saddles move up and down. I tend to prefer that option cause i'm lazy :)

The saddles are precision machined to the fingerboard radius. With the saddles at the correct radius the only thing that needs to be adjusted/set is the overall height. So if you're lazy then this is the way to go!

Dude, that new Attache is awesome. First version never really grabbed me but this is phenomenal. How does it compare to a Socialite?

It is pretty different from a socialite! Socialite is solid body neck-through. This is chambered body with set neck. Also the pickups are slightly different.

Ah, I didn't realise it is chambered! What about comparing weight/balance?

I honestly haven't paid attention to that! Haha! When I have a moment I will weight your guitar and these to see how close they are.
While chanbering obviously will reduce weight the main goal in doing so was less about weight and more about changing the sound. Having a heavily chambered body does give the guitar a little more of an acoustic-y sound if that makes sense?
