When I think of metal, I think of those pointy Ibanez's with the locking trems and shit. Because every shredding kid I've ever seen doing two-hand taps n shit was always playing one of those.

... LTD M-302, was a sample model from 2002, as far as most metal guitar for me, I've been wanting one of these forever, reminds me of some fresh stank...

Also love wizard necks, but threw my ibby at a wall and snapped the headstock off, shit happens.

Wish I loved the edge trem as much otherwise my ibby would still function, haven't been playing the ltd as much lately since I bought my sg, but still like to plug it into my custom "towelie" 6505+ for those tasty job for a cowboy licks.

Most metal guitar depends on who is handeling it.
But i would say Warlock on Max Cavalera in Sepultura in 1993
Because the same guitar does not look as cool on say Kerry King in 2014.

Metal guitars need to be black, pointy, and have toothpick thin necks. that said, Yngwie's strats are metal. and Iommi SG is more metal.

I would love to have a ten string mockingbird.

Anything on Kerry King 2014 doesn't look very metal.

compared to (check the glasses)

80s Kerry King was vastly superior.
