Exactly! I love what he had going with Cosmogramma, and this feels like a return to the spazzy jazz vibe that was on that album. And that guro art is pretty choice.

That teaser!!! I'm usually not a huge fan of collaborations. But he has such a unique sound and style... You can clearly separate what your hearing. Hype!!

Came here to preach dat. It's great. I love that he's gone into producing for rappers. When I saw him djing for earl when he got home got me stoked. His production is great and unique. He has definitely expanded his network into the rap community since the last album. Glad to see it. He's a link for quite a range of music.

Hope Kendrick gives up on some tracks so Captain can come back.

I literally just posted about it. Didn't see this thread. I thought it was 'cool' but not 'great'. It was like people who are accustomed to making internet shorts or music videos tried to make a feature. I know it is supposed to be structured via vignettes but...meh...

Hate to bring this up but the not so underappreciated classic CRADLE OF FEAR (the CRADLE OF FILTH movie) had the same problem.

I can't be upset with people for trying something new though. There was no shortage of cool "ideas". I liked to the two monsters and that girl.

Love FLYING LOTUS' music though. Would love to see his ideas in video either truncated or more fully realized.
