If you're looking for cheap, this guy is selling a Boss DR-202 for $80: viewtopic.php?f=44&t=42469
I know some people who dig the Boss drum machines, though I've got no experience with them myself. But that's a tough price to beat...

I'm more like a mids-ist than a bassist.

I use a Roland MC-505, Korg Volca Beats, and a Korg Monotribe

I heard some soundcloud demos too. Of course hearing one in person could change my mind.penelope tree wrote:There's only been one video released so far, as far as I'm aware, and I don't think it has been very well received. I don't really know how it compares to the Volca Beats and other direct competitors but I thought the OP may be interested if they're a fan of Akai with a modest budget.Deltaphoenix wrote:The rhythm wolf sounds kind of MEHHH to me.

Re: Drum Machines?
Roland tr8.
For the money, I think it is the best machine for tweak able accompaniment. Good sounds, built in effects.
Saw a used one go for 400 the other day.
