Listen to the old ‘20s & ‘30s blues recordings, not one of those guys ever had it in tune.
Sure sounds great though.

I suppose I do have it, it hasn't been working lately. Also, there is an led that tells you if the note is flat/sharp, and this doesn't work.

When I'm away from the tuna, or a computer I just make all the strings in tune with each other.

Re: Next time you make a gear video, detune your guitar.
I guess for me it all depends on what is being demo'd. If you are trying to show how a pedal self oscillates or creates noise in general (i.e. sounds that do not rely on being in tune), great! If you want to PLAY.A.CHORD then tune the shit up. Your demo of an overdriven G maj chord is worthless if you aren't demoing what it sounds like for most people.

I honestly can't remember the last time I've formally tuned my guitar...

That's cos those guys all had copious amounts of raw talent. The rest of us have to make up for our inadequacy by using strobe tuners.metalmariachi wrote:Listen to the old ‘20s & ‘30s blues recordings, not one of those guys ever had it in tune.
