Meridian Effects

Post by Jwar »

Hey guys! I just discovered this awesome builder via Talkbass of all places. They make a killer sounding pedal called the Funkulator that goes for $270 bucks.

God damn fucking link here http://youtu.be/obgPhjOvW84

Anyway I was talking to them about a larger purchase of 10-20 pedals. They are offering them to me for around 200 dollars each. That is a 70 dollar savings.

This company is based in Italy, so if anyone wants in, please let me know ASAP.

I'm trying to organize a group buy.

Why is that? I put it on talkbass as well, but I'm not sure what that comment means?

That octave tracks really well. If you end up buying any, you should definitely rehouse them.

Disregard me, thought it was just another lame envelope filter when listening with laptop speakers

It does, kinda wish this pedal was just the +/- 1 octave, the octave down sounds like a fatter OC-2 after an Octron fucked it

Sounds pretty sick! Love the octave tracking and the filter doesn't sound bad...

Just to let you guys know, I am front all the money for this now and reselling them after I etch them. The price will be 200 a piece still (70 dollar savings on the pedal, plus savings on your shipping with a free etch!!!!!!!). I have 11 spots filled and am going to just go ahead and purchase 20 pedals. I think this thing will be a winner. If not, they'll be scattered all over the bst area. It sounds killer to me though. Just what I've been looking for and the company is really, really nice.

Maybe if this goes well, I can start doing things like this with other companies in small runs. :)

So if you're a maybe, don't worry!! You'll have time to save!
