Hopefully without completely contradicting myself... I forgot that I preordered the Metro 2033/LL Redux that is available at the end of the month - which I am looking forward to.
Shit good point I do like Fallout better. I guess I categorize Fallout as more of an RPG but it's also a shooter. So I should say Metro is my favorite linear shooter

To be honest, I think that European games have much more of an intense atmosphere especially when it comes to dystopian themed games (Metro, E.Y.E Cybermancery, S.T.A.L.K.E.R)
Funnily enough, I was emailed 2 beta codes for the Witcher Adventure Game - it plays just like a board game. If anyone wants them.

Oh I definitely agree, what puts Fallout above everything is just the bizarre shit thrown in to the universe, it's definitely more light-hearted though. Metro's atmosphere was superb. I really like the expansion for Last Light where you had to collect different relics and keep exploring a certain area and get further and further as you got better gear. I'm too lazy to look up the name but phonetically it sounded like shot-tree-uh, starts with a k, you all know what I'm talking about.
Between being cheap (waiting for steam sales) and having a Mac (waiting for ports), I'm always late to the party for games. So I've been playing Borderlands 2 recently. Super fun, almost like FPS diablo with how loot oriented it is. Loving the graphics too
