So I think I'm starting to like "bad" tone

It's this really trebly, "icepick" tone. Normally, I try to steer away from them. Nowadays, I find that I keep coming back to that tone.

I won't go into the "why" or my reasons for liking it. Can anyone relate?

"Bad" tone is "good" tone, unless there's "chorus" involved.

Chorus on my amp is almost always on. :cry: It's normally pretty subtle, but it adds a bit to my tone + is great for some swampy sounding arpeggios and stuff. :)*

And yeah, I don't like "good" tones very much. I float between being really bassy and distorted (to the point where single notes from 14-21/22 fret sounds kinda like guitar pretending to be synth), or being really harsh and trebly and sounding like I would fit in perfectly with Bauhaus, Birthday Party, or one of Steve Albini's bands or something. :lol:
