If I could be as so bold to ask, could someone PM the brand new price? I'm actually in the market for an amp right now, but if it's not that much more for a new one then I could just order one with the colors I'd want......revancha wrote:Tried to trade an old SVT for this, but got a very nice "no":

I am super bummed that I don't have the dough for it... one day though I'll order a new one.

Beyond the smaller Shiv I think all the heads are the same dimensions.

In case anyone's looking for a Shiv. I want it so bad but can't do it right now.

Re: I want a Science Amplifier
I have a problem with companies like Science Amplifiers... they make too many different products that I want. Can't decide between a 50-watt Hellhawk with FX Loop for the simplicity, Street Sweeper for the huge headroom and reverb, Shiv for the lower wattage crankableness, or Decolonizer for the versatility in one amp. I put them against Electrical Guitar Company in that I can't decide.

Re: I want a Science Amplifier
I felt equally split, but decided to go for what was most practical for my needs RIGHT NOW (shiv). That said, I would love to give the Mother a roll on bass, and the street sweeper seems like an amazing platform. Maybe someday.AngryGoldfish wrote:I have a problem with companies like Science Amplifiers... they make too many different products that I want. I really like my Decolonizer. Its significantly more aggressive than my splawn and has excellent clarity for low tunings. The heads are big but not as wide as a Marshall head. Roughly 28x10x10.
