Good starting point....

Or did you mean stuff that sounds like Funkadelic? Or like... that James Brown record with the Grodeck Whipperjenny dudes where James Brown plays keyboards and doesn't sing?

Personally I'd suggest Man-Child by Herbie Hancock and Believe It by the NEW Tony Williams Lifetime with Allan Holdsworth playing guitar for some spaced out funky fusion..... and heck maybe that album John Mclaughlan and Carlos Santana made? That shit is fucking bugged out man.....

^^That's what I was gonna suggest.

Also, this isn't strictly psych funk, but it sure is dope & groovy:

Also, this isn't either, but it is too:

If we're talking Funkadelic-like (and why shouldn't we?), don't pass up the first Parliament record, "Osmium". All over the map but crazy good - psychedelic and funky for sure. And the Eddie Hazel solo record, "Games, Dames and Guitar Thangs". The Meters "Rejuvenation" is close to essential. Grodeck Whipperjenny record is also great. Anything Sly Stone did, with special mention to "Fresh". Then there's Curtis Mayfield. "Superfly" is obvious but "There's No Place Like America Today" is my favourite. And the album he produced for Baby Huey is genius. The Politicians and Mandrill put out some decent records. I also really love the Roy Ayers Ubiquity record "Virgo Red". And Swamp Dogg - "Rat On!" and "Total Destruction to Your Mind".

And this. Nice psych touches (the tremolo and the fuzz guitar) and funkier than a mosquito's tweeter…

Everyone's suggested Funkadelic, and it begins with Maggot Brain.

Free Your Mind and Your Ass Will Follow is not to be missed either.... Classic.

The solo Eddie Hazel LP is..... okay. The Beatles cover is crazy good, but there's some filler there for sure.....

This is psychedelic only because it's Billy Corgan back when he played in an Estonian Jazz Funk band. Pretty vanilla otherwise:
