Scooping up a new fuzz. Thoughts?

The Big Spider wasn't my cup of tea. I'm thinking about getting one of the following:

Box of War
TAFM
Blackout Effects Twosome
Fuzz War

The only other fuzz I'm likely going to be running on my board at this point is a vintage op amp muff. Maybe throw on my keeley fuzzhead clone.


I've found that I don't like superfuzz tones or really buzzy sounds, I like my fuzz like I like my women: thick and mean.

tafm is sick and wont dissapoint
if you already have a muff i wouldn't get a box of war or a twosome

if i was to buy a fuzz today it would be the demo tape fuzz for sure though

just got a TAFM today. reallllllllllllly love it. had a pharaoh before, and while i loved that dude, the TAFM is hard to beat. so many sounds sounds on tap.

Big Muff -> TAFM is pretty gnarly.

Yeah TAFM for sure. Its thick but in a different way than a muff, and blending fuzz tones rules. Gate switch is suprr fucking sweet. Do it.

With an IC Muff already on board, I'd get the TAFM from that list. Nothing quite like it.

Although the Fuzz War is really good for running other fuzzes into, especially since its got a lot of bass.
Not that interesting on its own to me though.
