Check the description of the Dragon Talon in your inventory (among the keys) or check the back of the death counter in Majula for hints. It's pretty easy to figure out.

I'm putting together a sweet loadout for invasions. I've only been marginally successful with the Curved Dragon Sword and the Black Knight Halberd, need something quicker. I think I'm going to power stance the Warped Sword with a katana of some sort and just slice people the fuck up.

Black Knight Halberd is my jam in DkS I. Unfortunately, it hasn't carried over well into this game. I'm rolling with my powerstanced dual raw/lightening estocs+10 (enchanted with fire when shit gets gnarly), pyro flame+10, knight shield+10, and sometimes dual powerstanced notched whips+10.

I miss running around in DS1 with my level 15 Great Chaos Fireball/Great Fireball spammer and killing Cheat Engine-using people. Hard to dodge that shit in the gargoyle chapel, you ffffffucks!
Now that Games for Windows Live is dead, I guess my multiple "FAGGOT" messages are gone as well...

Me too. It's one thing I really like about it. I'm just in the midst of the life crisis/tornado of hating my job, looking for a new one, and simultaneously trying to get into tattooing somehow. Oh, and somewhere in there I still try to play music :idk:

But playing games is good relief from the madness, so it's bound to happen soon.

I cleared NG in time for the DLC and I'm working through that right now. Respec'd from using the moonlight greatsword into balanced stats so I can use a fire drakekeeper sword or dark silverblack spear or mundane manikin dagger or pyromancy or hexes, depending on mood. Fashion is alonne helm/hexer robe/engraved gauntlets/havel legs/trangressor's shield.
Achtane wrote:What's the DS2 equivalent of giantdad?
One hasn't emerged yet IMO. From is still patching so the frontrunners (santiers, havelyn, hexers, helixadon) keep getting smacked down. And even then those builds haven't had an MLG-level vid.

The Ancient Dragon actually follows an extremely basic pattern. I read a few pointers and took him out my first try.

also I've decided that DaS2 is overall an even better game than the first. Couple of slip-ups but... yeah. :joy: :joy: :joy:
