Oh man, that's not good for my social life.
Although, I still haven't totally beat it.
I mean I got to the ending, but I still need to kill the king, just because I can't leave anyone alive.
And then there's NG+....

Shitttt, still on the Undead Crypt in NG+ and I want to beat NG+ before the new DLC, I'll have some work to do this weekend. What weapons are you guys using?

I'm using a melee/pyro/hexer build that has served me well. I use:

Dark Curved Dragon Greatsword +5- Hella damage and great scaling, fairly quick horizontal swings and it has a special heavy attack. Hits for 700+ on most enemies
Lightning Pursuer's Ultra Greatwsword +5- Great for stun locking and crazy knock down power with the two handed heavy. Slow attacks though
Fire Black Knight Halberd +5- Can be used with shield up. Dope reach and a spinning attack.
Lightning Dragonrider Bow +4- Light and powerful
Dark Barbed Club +4- Quick attacks that can still do a fair amount of poise damage. Good against bosses susceptible to bleeding. Found this works well against Vendrick.
Sunset Staff +3- The best hexing staff
Pyro Flame +10- Flame Swathe
Havels Greatshield +5- Cliche and heavy but takes a fucking beating

Those are the main weapons in my arsenal but I'm also working on a setup built for speed in PVP with power stancing the Warped Sword and the Black Steel Katana. Also working on maxing the Crypt Blacksword because it's fucking awesome looking. My armor hasn't changed at all since I beat the game the first time. Just using the Dragon Sage hood, Black Robes, Havel's on my hands and legs. Also experimenting with the Heide Knight armor. God I love loot :!!!:

I use a Mastadon Halberd (I have two, one normal +10, one lightning +10), a broken Santier's Spear +5 (best moveset ever, and it never actually breaks), a Fire Dragon Tooth +5, pyro flame +10, the Defender's Shield +5, and some kind of bow...
Drakekeeper arms, legs, and armour (all +10) and the Penal Mask

Also found an article explaining how to access the DLC. Spoilers obviously: http://ca.ign.com/wikis/dark-souls-2/Cr ... unken_King

Been using pyromancy (it's the only DaS magic I've ever found fun :idk: ) and the MLGS. Too many dudes are resistant to magic though so I'm probly gonna swap my weapon out.

Going to try Divinity: Original Sin, I need a new RPG to sink my teeth into.

I probably should have bought DS2 just because I haven't played a loot driven power fantasy in a while.

I picked up my old Skyrim save recently. It's fun trolling through dungeons and such but I have a lot of the locations and I don't feel like forcing myself to not fast travel so I feel like that's a big chunk of the fun and atmosphere I'm missing out on. I kinda just wish I could fight increasingly harder waves of draugr.

about the getting older and video games stuff from a couple pages back, I feel like bigger, deeper games just don't keep interested long enough for me to enjoy them all the way through. I pretty much get enveloped in Minecraft for a few months and then play something else for a few weeks and then it's back to minecraft again. I don't know what it is about that game but I can't stay away from it for very long even though I've been there, done that to pretty much everything in the game
