I realize that...it's just inconvenient. Obviously it's fine for a home board, but the size and shape would make a travelling board difficult to fit, carry, etc.

Good news are, its smaller than it looks and only a bit more than half as big as the original lovetone pedals. Bad news are, the box was the last one, they are out of production so possible new carriers will look different... I am still exploring the pedal, sooooooooooo many sounds...
560EUR is fair for all the crazy shit that is in that pedal. It's the shitty USD that brings it to $780.
I got screwed on my infinitphase like that. USD was like 1.5x AUS when I put a deposit/preorder...they were about equal when it was time to pay in full
Eek, that'd be annoying. Euro/pound conversion is horrible now too so it's a pretty crazy price for the UK as well, that's what I was thinking of. It's probably lots more reasonable for euro countries.
I'm not sure really, I think Piotr is really busy designing new things so he doesn't take on that many new orders.
That Carrier is nice, but take a stroll on his soundcloud, the new stuff he's coming up with seems even way radder if you ask me: http://soundcloud.com/hexeguitar
If I'm not mistaken the Carrier is loosely based on the Ring Stinger so you could try looking for one of those or a clone maybe, Ian from Gigahearts builds cool stuff and I think the stanimal Ring Stinger is in the BST as well as we speak.
intothegroove from the forum here had a Carrier in the BST a while ago, I don't know whether he sold it, you could try and ask him too.
good deals with: the_brow, phantasmagorovich, alexsga, DarkAxel, goroth, The Wood Wizard, Tendollarcat, vbps, monkeydancer, intothegroove, Brobee
