Started playing FTL again. I'm so bad at it, but man is it fun.

Started playing FTL again. I'm so bad at it, but man is it fun.

It took me so, so many tries to kill the boss ship. My friends beat it on their third or fourth tries but I had to put like 20 hours into the game first...
In concept I love the Zoltan cruiser, but as the game progressed I would always be hit with terrible weapon shortages every time I used it. I think I beat the game with the engi one using a bunch of drones and a weak double laser for anti-shield stuff.

I'm a million hours into FTL and I've never beaten it. That was the first PC game I got when I built my computer.

The 80's kid in me keeps hoping that I will beat FTL and aliens will whisk me away to save their homeworld. If only I could keep my Engi alive...

I finally beat it with layout B of the starting ship
I like that ship because you can easily isolate different sections of the ship when people invade
I've also only unlocked layouts A and B of that ship and the Engi Crusier
Can't figure out how to actually get anything else....

Also I really wish there was just a sandbox mode
Just like explore space and kill stuff
No running from rebels crap

Oh also awesome tip that I figured out. Pausing the game (spacebar, not esc) is invaluable to actually coordinate attacks and crew movements during battle

Freaking invaders always get me. I can never keep up a fight inside and outside the ship.

Finally finished a playthrough of Demons Souls tonight. I rage quit so hard a few months ago at the last area and boss, I just never went back again until today.

Playing 'Breach and Clear' on steam. Surprisingly fun. Just like Swat 4/Rainbow 6, with more realism and slightly less shitty companion AI.

Bought Wandering Souls for mah phone, because Souls. Kidna fun. It's more like a SecretofManaDiablo with permadeath. And program crashes.


ALSO I've nearly made it to DaS2 NG+. Just gotta do Abyss and Memories. It's only taken me like 10 restarts and 3 months
