What is this TBNC of which you speak? I am intrigued...

Talkbass Noise Collaboration. It's an album they're putting together of experimental/noise music played entirely on bass + pedals. It's gonna be freaking awesome, but I haven't had a chance to put in my entry because I've been getting ready for this covers gig we have going on next month, learning a 35-song set list and getting all of my effects ready (order + settings). They've already said they're going to do a Volume II, which I will definitely contribute to.

HOLY CRAP!!! I've gotta get signed up for Talkbass - I'd love to be involved with that...

...also, where's the cover band playing? If it's in RI, I'll do my best to make it...

I really love Talkbass, its a cool forum that's well moderated. So there's no hcfx bs, and some really smart people post in the FX section.

No, its way up in West Buttfuck, MA. All of my bandmates are from central/western MA, and its up in their neck of the woods. But I'm hoping to get the whole thing recorded on my new cam.

Seems that way. I just signed up, but couldn't find mention of the project. Is it something only accessible to supporting members?

Ah, yes - West Buttfuck. I'm pretty sure I've driven through there a couple of times on my way to East Asscheek. I probably won't make it to the show, then, since I rarely make it down to the Gluteal Region of MA these days, but if you do get some good recordings, definitely post 'em and I'll check them out!

Its a thread called "TB Effects Forum NOISE Compilation!", currently on page 2 of the effects forum. Here's the direct link if you want it

:joy: :joy: :joy: :joy: :joy: :joy:

I've never tried to make HN with my bass... and, though I know the page said using bass wasn't REQUIRED, it totally gives me an excuse to use it. and try to do something CRAAAAAAAAZY with it.
