My experience with the Soul Food was pretty laughable. I had it for 5 minutes before 2 of the knob shafts broke off and I had to replace them. Once I fixed it, it sounded good though.
I'd keep an eye on BST, cause it's definitely got some great pedals with some different sounds for usually a lot less than anywhere else

Haha yep, their QC on that pedal, at least in my experience, is ridiculously low. Now, I've had other EHX pedals that were built like tanks. Just not that one.
Also, for the money, the Pulsar rules.

Harley Benton Joyo Ultimate Drive. Is that anything like those Freakish Blues pedals that scammed all those snobs on TPG? Fuck that was funny. Never laughed so much in my life when I read about that fiasco.

ahahahah. I believe that's one of the Joyo/Harley Benton Pedals Freekish Blues "acquired" and gooped the pc and sold for a lot more than they cost. Yep.

The funny part for me is knowing that some audiophile idiots got robbed and are still living in denial.

But to be honest I dunno what i worst: to hand over 150+ buks for a pedal... or sell them as something quite novel [i.e. Andertons and that Monkey Lord Shmuck] - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r-Ly93PF2xo

oh look... even Jack Black got into it. Guess those Joyo Pedals are quite good - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EkebhYMOpcI

PS - some of my keys on the keyboard got screwey and don't work anymore :idk:

I've had a few EHX pedals for years and they never have any problems. Very good quality control and the price is right. Definitely recommend the Holy Grail. Pedal is a mainstay for me and it sounds great and is simple.

I'm digging the Soul food for what it is. Nothing fancy, no frills OD/clean boost. I used t use a odb-3 for that, then a the elements. Like the soul food in that spot. frees up the elements for other dirtier things too.
