PALLETBOARD

Post by spaceanomaly »

Image

I'm thinking about building my pedalboard out of one of these things. Lots of wood there. Plus, I can go out late at night and get one for free at the Supermarket in front of my house :surprise: :thumb:    Muahahahahahah.

I'll post pics as it goes

My wife and I made one of my first pedal boards out of a pallet!
Advice: do some actual sanding on it first before velcroing. You don't want splinters. You can get a splinter just looking at a pallet.
Depending on the size of the board that you want, I'd probably chop it down a little bit. I had a half pallet and it was still heavy as balls.
That's about all the advice that I have! I ended up painting mine black and putting heavy duty velcro on it. Was nice until I moved into an apartment in college, then it had to go for space reasons.

Thanks for the advices. True about those darned splinters.
As for the size, becasue I'm starting anew, I imagine it will carry ome 12 to 13 Pedals. I don't need anything big. Just big enough to keep things tidy [and there' lots of wood in those things. If omething goes bad there will be more spare wood to use]. :thumb:

I'll even put pics of my late night douchebaggery [i.e. "acquiring" it late at night from the Supermarket]. A real Diary in images.
