I tried one tonight at my buddy's place, super awesome! tommasters description is really spot on. This thing sounds huge and the available boost is outrageous, something none of my other verbs really offer. The altitude/gain knob adjusts gain structure on both the verb and clean signal simultaneously and really adds a shit ton of volume. It's very interactive with the master volume too, many different sounds depending on how you set them. I back the gain off quite a bit for cleaner playing and while it doesn't sport tons of cunch it adds a nice raunch if needed. Really comes alive when you hit it with fuzz/dirt and increase the altitude, massive and spacious. Both bright and dark settings sound good and you can get really crazy and unique sounds with the high mix settings.
I owned the Sunshine Reverberation awhile back and I def prefer this mainly due to master volume control and the fact that it goes crazier. And louder.
The size is nice too, standard 1590BB. Oh, and the screened plate they use looks really incredible! I've always loved DBA graphics but this is esp cool. It's a mix black and grey ink with raw brushed aluminum on the pedal border, control graphics, letters and half-circle edges, etc. That shit pops in person, brushed sections practically glow in the right light. Really stunning to look at and sounds every bit as good.
I had to hit up that Main Drag discount as a result.
A lot of fizz crackle and noise on some settings.
