Fromel Shape. pedals come and go, especially dirt, modulation, and verb but ive had this EQ for a long time. I keep the knobs set the same way all the time and its always on. Every other pedal is just another interchangeable building block on top of this guy. 2nd longest would be the v1 El Cap.

i LOVE my Durp Charger. also been basically glued onto my board since ACQUIREMENT.
I wanted to love the Depth Charge. I was so stoked for it. But I just couldnt dial in a sound I really loved.

I got a Buzzz, which covers a lot of the same sonic territory, but sounds much fatter, heavier, and angrier to my ears.

I dont like it as much at full voltage, though. Too hissy, which was the problem with the DC to me. Needs to be starved some. Now if someone made a depth charge with a voltage starve, I'd be all up on that.

As for the question at hand, my oldest companion is my Infanem Second Voice. It was my ss/bs Mini, but I swapped it out for a Fuck Mountain, which has the Mini in it, so I guess its still technically the one I've had longest.

I've had my Boss FV-500 since May 2011, but it is gonna be replaced with a volume pedal from
Mission Engineering in a couples of weeks.
So I'll guess my Micro POG(Dec 2011) wins when the new volume pedal is on board.

that's funny. my Depth'y was pooping out on the psu jack, Danno fixed it AMAZINGLY quick. saved my butt. have a show this weekend and i love that thing. use it for so much.

but while the jack was jankety, it would sometimes power up, sometimes not, sometimes partially power. and some of the Accidental Starving was AWESOME. was thinking about asking Depth Dooder to make one with a starve.

thaaaaaat's innnnnteresssstinnnnng. if the Buzz is similar i'd way rather have an SS/BS/DFAS on my board. i'll look into that.

NEAT.

I guess John K made one with a starve and said it made it "chunkier."

The Buzzz is super versatile. Scooped mode sounds just like DC with tone at max. I dont use that though. the other way you get a crazy mid boost.

AFAIK, its the Super Puzzle with some bells and whistles. No clean blend, but the fucker adds so much bass its stupid. Especially with the octave on and the voltage starved. Those "sweet spot" notes really shake the walls (from B up to E on the E and A strings for me). And it can get sticky chewy synth fuzz or sharp angry distortion depending on the settings.

I'll send mine to you sometime if you wanna try it out. Our amp setups are similar.

Earthbound Supercollider . Have yet to find a more grindy, middy, yet fluffy muff . Been on my board since the day that I got it.

Devi SP-AE . Nothing does a plague of mechanical locusts devouring your mind impression like this baby . Purchased about the same time as the above if not slightly earlier .

Those are the ones that will never die.

TECHNICALLY though, the pedal that has been on my board the longest is the Line 6 Verbzilla. I'm not sure why... xD Though it has served me so well over these years . I plan on having it become a Bluesky or Afterneath quite soon , where as the others will stick with me til the end of time .

Ibanez DML10 aka "The Pappy Slapper". It's just the perfect delay really. It's also super shrill which is something I hated at first, but love now, especially in a band setting. It's starting to show some age, but nothing a bit of fixing couldn't remedy.

Probably had that like.....5 years? Yea.

Mine is probably a Japanese OC-2 that I got from Sonny. It is magically the best tracking OC-2 ever and Sonny eternally has dibs. Thinking about doing the synth mod but afraid to mess up the tracking.

Until a couple of years ago I had an '84 Rat for like 18 years...

Modding it with a voltage sag would be really easy.

Bought a Boss RV-3, Boss HM-2, and a Rat, got them all used as a package deal back in '96 for $80, I remember at that time that RV-3's weren't held in high regard, and you couldn't even give your HM-2 away. The Boss RV-3 has always been on my board and will likely stay there until I expire. The HM-2 sat around in a box for years, but has been on my board since '08, gotta have that buzzsaw boost. Seems alot of ya change pedals like you change clothes, I on the other hand been rocking the same shit since I started playing, although I did add a Lastgasp LLuna this year, and a Zoom Ultra Fuzz a few years back before prices shot up on them. Tried alot of new gear this year and sold it all off already. Old shit reigns supreme for me it seems.
