I wouldn't compare it to any other delay, at least none that I've owned. It goes every bit as dark as my E600D but way more washy and dreamy sounding esp with the mod on. The MM repeats just build up really well on one another giving that total spacey atmospheric vibe but with a cool rhythmic pulse. And yeah, very dynamic. Oscillation is great but very dependent on feedback and tone control interaction and input strength but it handles high feedback so well, takes off without going nuts. And then all the CV/exp.

I wouldn't use it as my only delay but I love a HUGE variety of different delay sounds. That said, this one does what it does extremely well, a very cool spin on the classic tape delay sound.

I really couldn't have said that any better. I honestly haven't owned too many delays to compare it to but I've flipped all of them fairly quickly, other than my Dispatch Master.
At the moment I've got both the Maude and Dispatch Master on my board. I'm using the Maude for longer delays and the DM for shorter delays and huge reverb. Overall it gets insanely spacey and ambient, which is exactly what I wanted.

Schnikes description is on on the money. All the controls are highly interactive and it definitely has a learning curve. But if you spend a little bit of time learning how they work together it's totally worth it. It's one of the coolest and most interesting sounding delays I have. It handles fuzz beautifully. Modulation is awesome. The randomness rocks. It's one of the most dynamic delays I have played. You can totally alter the delay sound depending on how you pick. I still need to experiment with the effects loop more but I had some fun the other day putting different effects in it.

I got spend some time playing this at NAMM and have been looking forward to it for a while.

OK another question...... not about the pedal itself but about the period between the moment you paid and the time when you finally got your Maude.

Im sort of nervous...im having it shipped to a buddy in Maryland, who is coming to Malaysia for holidays ( im in malaysia btw, i did that to save shipping cost and potential custom duties!!)....

I have till July 9th.....

Have you gotten your shipping notification?

The tracking number should give you some basic idea when it'll arrive.

Mine took about a week to arrive after payment. Maybe just over a week but it was quick.

Sell me the Head Shop.

No, just kidding. (Not really)

Maude came today.

My favorite setting so far: all knobs point to 3:00.

:!!!: No. 93 arrived today! :!!!:

The repeats are so lush and gorgeous. It's crazy how interactive all the controls are. And boy does it want to feedback. Normally that would be a dealbreaker for anything but a noisemaker but the feedback sounds so nice and with the mix knob it's so easy to keep it at an acceptable level and play over it. Earlier I had the tone down and had this awesome percussive throb that I was just kinda droning over.

Even at her ugliest Maude is a beauty!

This thing needs more video demos. Also, any idea as to when it'll start showing up in stores?
