It's a great little guitar. I love it. I think it plays like a much larger guitar. You barely notice you're playing a tiny guitar, unless you're playing standing up. Because it's so small and light, it doesn't feel like much when you're standing. So, in that respect it's a bit weird. If you're playing sitting down, however, it's really fantastic.

And because it has no truss rod, the action's a little high. If you're looking for one, make sure you play it before buying. You don't wanna get one with too high an action.

Ha, I just went looking:

This one's been beat, but it's all original. Hard to tell how the action is on it. Doesn't look too bad. Price is nice.

I had a set of .013-.058 flats on my Silvertone 1448 tuned down to the neighborhood of c standard for quite some time without any issues. It has a 23.5ish" scale and no adjustable truss rod. That guitar had no right to sound as heavy as it did, but it was awesome. I may have to set it back up like that and play around again.

Thanks, GuitarSlim. The pickup on this one doesn't sound heavy, but it certainly doesn't sound bad either.

I may have to save up some money for new strings.
