With that being said I like the looks of the pedal, its options and having the choice of Germanium. Looks really interesting.
I'd like a Super Fuzz but I am a bit short of coin at the moment.
You know what, I think the idea of getting it out in the ilovefuzz.com community is a good idea. So if a respected member of this board wants to get one and review it I'll let them return it inside of 60 days if they don't like it, or for any other reason. Basically I just need a deposit before I can send one out.
I tried the Wattson Superfuzz and thought it was good, but not exactly the types of sounds that I would use. This looks like a more versatile beast with more modern sounds that the Wattson doesn't try to do. Really nice sounding pedal you got going there, especially with "Glitch" and "Cut" controls.
Also, isn't "Superfuzz" still owned by someone or some company?

Well, there is the ~$150 MJM China Fuzz and the $100 BYOC Leeds Fuzz kit. As far as I know they're all pretty much identical, though I haven't taken the time to really look into it (not sure if the China fuzz uses NOS transistors or what).
About the trademarking of Superfuzz... that's pretty lame. I guess I'll wait to get a threat before I do anything. However, Voodoo Labs threatening Wattson for simply using the word 'Superfuzz' to describe their pedal isn't legit, there's precedent to support factual description using trademarked words from Playboy Enterprises, Inc. v. Welles (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Playboy_En ... _v._Welles).

Christ, did you have to go surface mount to jam 6 transistors and 11 10uF caps into that space? Either that or I want to pay you to do my PCB design from now on.
The second footswitch enables the Blend input to be worked in. Depending on the position of the lower toggle, it will either mix with the Fuzz output (Fuzz: 100-0%, Blend: 0-100%) or add to the Fuzz input (the main input signal is not attenuated). I mostly use it to mix in EQ'd clean signal back into my pedal chain after the fuzz when I play bass, or to make messed up feedback with guitar (it's a bit different than passive feedback loopers like the Death by Audio TSA due to the JFET buffer).

I'd try to write my bass pedal setup, but between the splitter for the blend input and the feedback looper I use it gets kinda complicated.
So you could blend it with something like a modulated effect via footswitch?
Also, is your superfuzz pretty beefy sounding (without being blended)? That's my only gripe about the SF is it's lack of bass.

Sure, you can blend it with anything. I've run a second instrument through it.
It's no more bassy than the original. I don't think SFs cut bass particularly badly like, say, a Proco Rat does, I just think that with the octave effect the bass gets drowned a bit. I'll have to run a freq analysis sometime to test it. I'll make a bass demo as well at some point when I have some time.
