Alternatives to the Toneczar Vault?

Post by Sardocasm »

I have a Toneczar Vault and it is pretty bloody fantastic sounding and has a solid feature set. Are there any other pedals out there that reside in a similar sonic domain?

A Foxx Tone Machine will get some similar tones but nothing has the same functionality as the vault with the different modes and control of the octave level.

Nothing I know of that does as much variety as the Vault. I can can cover some Super Fuzz type tones, distortion and some deep crunch stuff all with the Vault. I currently use the Vault for a Super Fuzz in that nasty upper octave with a bit of a distortion thing for my baritones.

:hello: Sorry for the delay guys

The only thing I have at the moment (and it's fairly new as well) that gets into Vault territory is the Extreme Octave Fuzz by Lone Wolf FX

It's completely different in the design and controls, but the octave sounds naaaasty and awesome - very vault-like. This pedal has BALLS. SERIOUS BALLS.

You know, in a strange, perverse, and specific way... these two pedals go hand in hand.

Versatility? Vault.
Octave stuff? Vault.
Werewolf vowely mating sounds? Vault.
Ultimate fucking badass of wanton destruction? Vault.
Weird, beefy, pissed off, and awesome Distort-O-Fuzz? Both! :joy:

Hells yes! Wall shattering kabooooooooom! :joy:

I love the Voice knob interaction with the Bass. So many ways to manipulate one's particular big bottom pleasure. :omg:
