pickup recommendation

Post by in2thegapagain85 »

So I just got a Fender Jaguar Baritone Custom, and I'm not quite satisfied with the bridge pickup. I want to keep the single coil sound going, but the stock pickup is too trebly/snappy. Any suggestions? I also play a 52 tele reissue and I like the tone of the bridge pickup, so perhaps something similar.

Drop Pete at Vintage Vibe a line.

He does excellent custom work.
He should be able to wind a Jag pickup to sound like your Tele.

You can also talk to Bryan at BG Pickups. He offers a discount to HCEG forum members. That forum is still down. But he does great work and his prices are reasonable.
