The demos of it didn't sound great.

Then again, I think Loic le Pape makes some epic guitars.

I'd like to try a Teuffel. Find some videos of him talking about guitars and his design process. Fascinating.

I put a humbucker in the neck position and have it wired split. So between both p'ups (neck & bridge) I get 5 combinations (bridge, bridge + 1/2HB, bridge + HB, 1/2HB, HB) ranging from biting punch to warm jazzy. Love it, It's my go-to guitar. But I keep forgetting the switch postions...

Well considering '62 reissue Jazzmasters are like $1800 new and these have a middle jag pickup, mastery bridge, built in fuzz, and modulated delay... and an amazingly cool headstock, I'd say it's justifiable.

I wouldn't spend that on an AVRI either. I agree, there's a shit ton of cool stuff on there, but until I have a record deal or a solid paying job I couldn't justify that price
