I live in a place where I literally can never turn up the amp. For this environment I have a low wattage Red Iron Amp. It still is too loud to crank. With this in mind and with a desire to do recording with more than just a direct speaker simulated signal I have been looking for a decent isolation cab for not much money.
Finally yesterday I found this - An isolation cab custom built and being sold by Joe Naylor of Reverend Guitars for only $199 bin on ebay. Already contained an 8" Jensen speaker. If figured buying a cab built by someone with as good a rep as Joe Naylor and for much less than most iso cabs go for would be a decent risk to see if this can work for me.
I need a Shure SM57 mic now. Anybody have one in good shape they'd like to sell or trade to me?

If you're handy. Unfortunately I'm not.
So is there no leakage? Seems like a smart way to do some recording...
Just bought it off e-bay Saturday Night. It is being shipped from Michigan. Built by Joe Naylor who runs Reverend Guitars. He seems to have it together so I am guessing he can build a decent iso cab.
