BOSS SL-20 appreciation!

Post by mff »

Yo. So I couldn't find much about how people are using their slicer.

Just found this cool "mod" on the tube, wich I look forward to try out, as I already have the Ultra Harmonizer as well:

(FIX'D)

:hobbes:

BUT:
How do you like getting our sliceness on?
How are you all slicing the slice with your slicer?
Any tips for really nice patterns?
Ant cool modifications?
Before or after dirt?
Before or after delay?

I use the slicer a lot too. If interested how, check out mx ilf bilf 2013 video on youtube.
Btw, if boss could build a looper with that midi sync ability without the effect would be the shit.

I have wanted a slicer for years! Last weekend though I realized I can "slice" with my pitchfactor, yet another reason to hold on to my PF.

Many behringer are excellent. The expensive ones are clones on boss or line6 therefore decent.

I was in the same state of affairs until I read your last post...could you explain how you "slice" with your PF, Derelict78 ? That should allow me to save a couple of euros for booze and soda.

Ah, great! And great slicing! What looper is that?

On that note - anyone ever use the lopper in the slicer?

If you want to listen:

Track 1 and 4 has got a lot of slicing going on. On synth.
