vintage FZ1a repair
Got one off Ebay for pretty cheap. It was listed as fully working but it aint. At first it was dead but I started to get some effected signal when I moved the attack pot about. At some positions it's silent, others a decent fuzz tone, and others a super saturated fuzz with horrible high pitched screechy oscillating squealing. I'll replace the pot and cross my fingers but while I'm waiting for it to arrive I wondered if you guys had any ideas about what else might be up. I've dealt with scratchy pots before but never encountered one cause problems like this.
