After watching Young Widows tonight, I really want a Rat King or Rat Tail or some other ratty dirt. The bassist had a Rat Tail with a second gain stage and it was on pretty much the whole time they played. Sounded killer.

I know Wildebelor's Sonic Violence is Rat based and I'm in love with the enclosure, but then I also heard the Blower Box is a rat too, and I'll get to try one soon.

In short, I want a rat.

Pretty much be patient, wait for the next preorder, and keep a weather eye on the bst on case anyone who got one suddenly needs money. I'm extremely happy with mine.

Im getting a Marsh Chapel soon. Im planning on upgrading my main board to a pt jr and keeping my mini for a simpler doom board. Im thinking Bitquest for lots of stuff in a small box, Marsh Chapel and (Volt thrower?) for my dirt, some sort of reverb (Cadavernous?) and maybe a lil ditto. Unless I should do a third dirt and just use the reverb on the BQ. Decisions decisions!

Nice! is this a bass board or for 6 string? I liked, no, loved the chpel on guitar, but it really came alive once the doubleneck got here and i started messing around with the bass side. just kiiler!. the internal trim pot is set at about 50%, maybe a lil higher. so good. Who built the one you are getting if you don't mind me asking?

100% bass! Maybe a bass vi eventually. I love the demo video on YouTube. It seems like its all about the low-mid roar, which I like.

I'm talking to Dan W about building it for me. I'm gonna get it put in a big slanted enclosure and do some extra psychedelic graphics on it. He said he could do a diode lift switch that, as he described it, "makes your bass go OH FUCK." That sounds like a feature I want.

GAS has hit me hard the past month. Dwarfcraft She Fuzz because I always need another fuzz, and Earthquaker Rainbow Machine because the demos hypnotized me. And maybe getting back in the reverb-game with the Cadavernous? Also, a sweet ass ring mod. Waiting for summer vacation and them sweet moneys.

I've realised that I'm pretty damn happy with my gear setup lately. I'm buying a Frazz Dazzler from Ryan next week, and I'm still totally in for the Dirge-SS/BS filter, but apart from that I'm content with what I've got.

What I am gasing for really fucking bad is a new car though. Fuck I hate my damn Volkswagen and it's constant need for repairs and premium gas. I've decided that I want an old Mazda RX-7, I had an '88 RX-7 when I was younger and I loved that car. There's an '85 GSL-SE on my local CL that I really fucking want, but I can't justify spending the money on it right now.

I love RX-7s. I had a black 93 twin turbo that just screamed but it was in the shop so much that I couldn't afford it. I want one again but I'll probably put that off for a few years. I'd heard they were designing a new one but I haven't seen anything recently on it.

Today is tomorrow! (thanks for the love though, Tomlane)

After being relatively gas free (other than for things I needed for my setup) for quite some time tons of things popping up this week that filled me with want! I picked up that Yamaha amp, and I've got a KVLT power amp incoming this week. Still there's more...

Image

One came up on CL for an INSANE price ($75) and now I'm thinking real hard about it even though I can't afford to pay the prices they normally go for.

Image

Thinking about getting a second guitar for bowing and/or alternate tunings...

Image

All you lapsteel jerks got me dreaming of drones so I've been thinking about grabbing one of these Rogue setups since they seem to get good reviews for the money.

And since I got the new amp I have been playing a ton more guitar so board scheming/dreaming of Fuck Moutains, and Devi Bits, and that Ibanez delay, and an Arrow Airwaves 2, and...

Ibanez CS-505 and Strange Amps Baphometric (Mastotron Clone) are in the mail.
AND Dirge Delay is being built.

Still really need a boost pedal and want a Dirge Muff.

Sold my standard Big Muff last night.
