Partscaster Build

So I've been, for the most part, buying cheaper guitars like a few VMJMs and an Epiphone Black Beauty and upgrading/customizing them to my liking. While I do have another VMJM build I'd like to work on (including a baritone neck) I've been struck with the idea of starting a Partscaster build from scratch, using Allparts body and neck and going from there. Here's a mock-up:



Obviously this is a bit of a dream mockup and some things I'll likely change to make the build a bit more realistic/affordable. Things like a standard control plate and not having the upper toggle. For pups I'm thinking Lollar Goldfoil in the neck and Lollar Supro lapsteel in the bridge. Instead of a Bigsby I might go all out and put a Hipshot Parson/Green B-bender in there or possibly a JM trem.

I've also toyed around with adding both a Lollar Widerange and Lipstick in the middle and putting a second control plate (Squier 51 control plate) below the tele one, like this:



Anyways, I'm open to suggestions/questions/concerns before I actually move forward.

A strat style trem system, while not as cool looking as the bigsby, will function better and allow you to do more with it. it will also work better with the design of a tele. gibson style bridges are made to work woth a guitar that has the neck set at an angle. the bridge you have there will require the neck to be slightly angled and the pickups to be way higher than on a normal tele or strat.. All doable, just more work and issues that may come up.
