Busking/street rig
Anyone have any experience with creating a simple mobile rig? I'd like to start playing in the street for money and I'm interested to know what my amp options are. I'm wondering if it's possible, and practical, to lug a leisure battery and inverter about to power a small valve amp, or if I should just go get a Roland.

You could get one of those fender G-dec amps with the built in drums / accompaniment, or you could get a small battery powered amp and a small battery powered multi-fx pedal with built in drum beats. Most of the buskers around here do the latter and it's pretty rad watching em jam out.

Great studio tool as well. That would have to be the only thing I've ever flipped and regretted to this dayUncle Grandfather wrote:+1 on Pignose. Sounds dynomite

One of these: http://caseofbass.com/home.html
One of these: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/accessor ... wer-supply
Play through one, and replace your onespot/whatever with the other and you're good to go anywhere at any volume. If you need anything else, just find a cheap keyboard that can run off batteries.

ZT Lunchbox JR has a power output for pedals. You can run a bunch of minis off a daisy chain or one of those nice new Zoom multis.
