Danelectro. Tuna melt. Simple tremolo that works just fine. I also had a corned beef and a french toast that were pretty good. I like that they name their stuff after food....

Yeah I'm really impressed with the Tuna Melt too. How was the Corned Beef? I heard it was a really loose, low dispersal reverb closer to a slapback, which to me sounds like it could be interesting.

The Corned Beef is basically a PT2339 delay with a set super short delay time. Danelectro used PT2339/PT2336 chips in their Dan-echo, PB&J, Fab Echo pedals. People slag on the Corned Beef Reverb as being one of the duds of the food series. But it is pretty ok as a really cheap, warming sounding, slap back pedal.

I picked mine up for $5 and play it through an old Harmony amp for playing Television Personalities/Messthethics/late 70's lo-fi bedroom punk stuff and keep it around for just that reason.


Also worth mentioning: the Fish n' Chips EQ is perfect, and the Behringer Vintage Distortion (Muff mod, used as the jumping off point for Eau Claire Thunder, I believe)

Dano Fab Tone - the old metal one, not the newer plastic jobs.

Fryette SAS - maybe slightly above cheapo @ $50-99 but definitely worth trying if you stumble into one

Alesis Ineko, Akira, and ModFX units. Not technically pedals but lots of usable and/or oddball sounds for cheap. Bitcrushing, reverse delays and verbs, vocal filters, tape and vinyl noise emulations...

Behringer FCV expression pedal - provided it's a match wiring and pot-wise for what ever you're pairing it with, it's a steal @$30 new and probably the best constructed item with a Behringer logo.

Sorry guys. It was a dirt pedal, not a delay. Reddish color. Two knobs. Sounded pretty good, not much low end but it had a classic rock grit... Foot switch broke so I gave it away, but I think I paid less than 30$ for it, so whatever.

The French toast was pretty nice fuzz, it would be worth a rehousing upgrade. I had lent it someone and never saw it again...

Akai Intelliphase. analogue phaser, with optional touch sensitivity control. discontinued. get one if you see one!

First of all, this first post was amazing. So many cool ones to look out for and several I've never heard of! Second of all, that pedal looks awesome and I'm not even much of a phase fan.

Ibanez De7 is an incredible delay that can usually be had for $50. The echo mode is just fantastic. Beats nearly every delay double its price and up.

Been seeing it on so many pedalboards lately, too!

One of my best friends has one I'm rehousing for him soon. We saw it randomly at a pawn shop some time ago, and I told him if he didn't like it I'd buy it from him...well he still has it, lol. I got a bad ass sparkly blue enclosure to match the original color a bit too

Ones that have stuck in my arsenal: 1. Ibanez PM-7, best phaser for the money. I use it all the time. Phaser, ring mod, formant filter, bit reducer, oscillator, freak tremolo. 2. Digitech Digiverb, reverse and gated reverb modes are great for making your guitar not sound like a guitar. The other modes all sound great as well and it has a tone knob for the reverb signal. 3. DOD Hard Rock Distortion. I don't use it as much as the others, but it has this really cool washed out distortion tone. Not really for chugga chuggas or power chords, but perfect for suspensions and major 7ths. Has a built in short doubling delay circuit that can be tweaked for glitching. But when it is set for normal doubling it is pretty sweet once you get the hang of it.

I'm surprised Behndy Behnder has not stormed in here saying how much EHX is poop. I strongly disagree I still rock a 10 years old XO DMM which is kinda awesome. I once owned an LBM, Small Clone, Big Box US Muff, double muff (modded with master volume), Holy Grail+, maybe more. I still sometimes regret selling the Holy Grail+ and the LBM and early 2000's US muff because I'm a muff whore.

Pro Co Rat was pretty cool when it could be had around 40 euros used, stacked very well with the LBM iIRC.

I also had a Rocktek delay in a plastic enclosure, was kinda awful and awesome at the same time. Also, Ibanez DL7 is a very good cheap delay pedal.

joyo pedals are like 20-30 new. tops. and they sound great. i have the ulitmate drive( fulltone ocd clone) and the vintage overdrive( tube screamer 808) and they both sound perfect. the ocd is almost identicle to the OCD and i prefer its tone options a lot more.

Turns out you're right. Got it used in april-may-june 2009 (checked old board photos to get an approx date), so it's probably from 2007 or 2008. Am I getting old? It seems like forever ago.

Was super cheap though, 130 euros when they were around 300 at that time. Thought I was gonna wet myself when I saw the price tag. That shop closed a while back, so much good deals on pedals there, the owner didn't knew much about guitar stuff (he was a keyboard player). Got a ProCo rat for 35 euros on the same day. I was like SO MUCH WIIN I'M AWESOME.
