I think I blew up my Fuck (or spawned the ass of satan) :(

So I was shifting pedals around/changing some things up, and I used a different power supply on my my Fuck. Still 9v center negative, but maybe to many amps? I dunno. Put I turned everything on, and then engaged the Fuck and it made a horrible high pitched carrier noise and lots of static, so I immediately turned everything off. I stated un-plugging everything and almost instantly noticed a slight burning smell. Then it got worse. WAY WORSE. LIKE THE ASS OF SATAN WORSE.

So I took off the back in a different room with better air coming through, and checked the insides. Nothing looked burnt anywhere except maybe one sooder-joint. But I plugged it back in using the old power supply I was using before, and the output of the pedal has gone waaaaaaaay down. I had to turn the volume all the way up (before this would have been dreadfully loud)and the gain up quite a bit as well just to get sound out of it.

Did I blow it up guys? I dunno what to do It also still smells god-awful

i've never heard of too many amps messing something up. usually a unit will only take as many amps as it needs, even if the power supply can supply more. the voltage and polarity are more important. atleast thats how i understand it (not a wizard by any means)

I'm 99.9% positive because I have run other pedals off of that power supply before, and their fine. I dunno, maybe something wonky happened to the power supply since then.
