And by "bring it," I mean come on down and I will buy the first 5 ILFers I meet beers, because I don't know if The Parlour will give us that many drink tickets, and I need to be able to afford to buy myself at least one beer of decent quality.

Seriously, though - we've been really happy how rehearsals have been going, and definitely want to keep gigging out. Hopefully we'll be able to buy at least one ILFer a beer every show (worse comes to worse, I guess Decibill and I can buy each other beers and that will count).

Thanks man! It was great seeing you and getting to hang out. Thanks as well for taking that footage. I can't bear to watch more than a few seconds at a time, but mostly because I think I look like a spastic monkey onstage. But hey - I've been doing it for decades now... apparently that's "my thing."

Also, if any of you have the chance to catch either Small Apartments or Divining Rod play (or Coma Coma, for that matter - but that's only likely if you're in the RI area), by all means do it. Small Apartments: excellent tight indie-rock with a krautrock-influenced motorik chug. Divining Rod: absolutely amazing driving psych rock explorations, like if Hawkwind were influenced by Neu! and Can. The Divining Rod single that's out there is quite good, but the arrangements are way pared down and more "proper song-ish." But I'm ok with that, personally.
