shit what type of gear & pedals does t_d have and/or use? does t_d make teh music. i think seeing what type of pedals a pedal maker has & uses really gives insight into the type of pedals they makes.

Strings--doesn't really matter as long as they're 11s. Hex core, no Elixers. Usually D'Addario nickel wound blues/jazz rock.

Guitars--I have two electrics. A Fender Am. Dlx. Stratosonic (chambered mahogany body, p-90s, 24.75 Gibson scale bolt-on neck--pic). My other guitar is one I designed and built with my dad (pic and thread).

Amp--all I need is a low-wattage single channel tube amp. I had a Carvin x100b I was pretty fond of, but was running even that at its lowest watt setting. I sound like a pedal guy or something, but give me a single-channel tube amp that takes pedals well...I've got a little Blackheart that more than does the job.

Music--building pedals keeps me too busy to be super active with my own music, but I'm always up to writing or recording something.
--I write a lot of acoustic songs, which you can check out here.
--I have a band called It's Not For Sale, Francis that is stripped-down straightforward rock. We haven't been too active in the past 4 years, but you can check out some songs we tracked live in 2005ish.
--I've also done some recording, samples, and production for some hip hop...Jersey Bound Trunk Crew, The Wine Thieves, and Emcee Hype (my brother!). Actually signed an option deal with Sony/Epic along with Jersey Bound (as finalists in an mtvU contest). Which was neato.

Today, after the new Mellowtone demos, it was White Spider time! (I built some definitive White Spider boards. Building the definitive prototype tomorrow!)
Also worked on two very special builds, one of which is very top-secret.
