I kind of want to play The Amazing Spider-man 2, simply because it has open world and physics based webswinging.

I haven't played even a single decent spiderman game in so long. I need one.

Ugh why do DkSII weapons have such low durability? I'm tired of being forced back to the bonfire not to heal, but to repair my stuff.

Still, pretty much bestgameever material.

Is it worse than FarCry 2's weapon breakage?

That's a dealbreaker as I consider DS2.

DS2 weapons have low durability and degrade pretty quickly, but your gear gets automatically repaired when resting at a bonfire. Generally this means I have to keep a second or third weapon on hand. It's not that big of a deal, I just feel like I'm being unnecessarily hamstringed for playing well enough to not need a rest. It's a weird design decision on FromSoft's part, IMO.

You can buy unlimited repair powder later in the game, but I'm not to that point yet.

I only found weapon breakage an issue early on and I avoid bonfires for some reason :idk:

Yea, as long as you can have a second or third and it's not a 'using something that utterly sucks as backup' I can live with temporary annoyance.

FC2 the guns would break after a few magazines, there was no repair except getting a new one from a store, every one you picked up off any enemy was already verge of breakdown (but they worked 100% in NPC hands!) etc.

Just can't do that again.

Gaahhhhhh.
In addition to that, every single time you drove through a checkpoint you'd be chased by dudes whose cars were always a little faster than yours.
The first unmodded, unpatched STALKER game was like that too, your gun would jam all the damn time. Really wasn't helpful when the first gun you got was an absolute garbage Makarov and you were taking on dudes who had double-barreled sawnoffs and stuff.
System Shock 2 is pretty annoying in that regard as well.
